Your 3 day safari starts in Nairobi, travels through different sceneries in Kenya, and finishes back in Nairobi. The name Loiyangalani means "a place of many trees" in the native Samburu tongue and is home to the El Molo, an almost extinct community, amongst other communities. Its main industries include fishing and gold panning.

Your Lake Turkana Festival safari in Kenya departs at 09:30am, traveling through the Great Rift Valley and the town of Loiyangalani north western Kenya. You arrive at your campsite in the late afternoon. Dinner is included.
Day 2: Turkana,Loiyangalani Kenya
Your day is spent enjoying the first and only Desert Museum in Loiyangalani, which mirrors the Cultures and lifestyles of the eight communities that live in this area,also nearby is the Rock Art Site that portrays the rich Cultural and Natural Heritage of this region. Relax and bask on the shores of the Largest Desert Lake in the world, a few meters from the museum.
Located within a World Heritage Site- Lake Turkana Eco-system, Loiyangani is also located few hours drive from Koobi Fora Museum and archaeological sites, which have put Kenya on the World Map as the Cradle of Mankind.
