This is a new dimension in my life today In my life as a Christian I have gone through trials and test Am no poet but am speaking through the spirit When you have been there and done that you will understand That the things of this world are of no significance. We grow in wisdom and statue and of your mind And our destiny is only known to you No one apart from you and your Creator Whats your purpose? Do you know yours? Have you sat down and thought of one? Then one knows wisdom granted by one Yes one! You know who? Yes the one and only your creator Then if you know your destiny asks for a new dimension from up obove. behind our smiles and ignorance,the world is filled with saddening truths and realities,today I watched the CNN heroes edition and all their stories were "enlightening" but the story that stood out to me was that of  Anuradha Koirala  from Nepal ,hers is a story of daily battle against human traffickers,who traffic young girl children (13-18yrs) for sex slavery,torture and other sorts of evils that go against the norm of humanity.Video clips of this children narrating their ordeals are so overwhelming that its only natural to tear up but what next after the tears?,do we appreciate her efforts and wish her all the best in this battle?...I say NO!,lets do something to permanently end this,let action follow up the disgust and sorow that cloud our hearts from such real life stories.Its time we opened our eyes,see each other as brothers and sisters and not commodities nor sources of sexual pleasure,lets make a stand and take an action,let who have eyes see that ...

  my pen and paper,   my friend and conscious,   unbaised and with no favour,   they are always here,   to help me make it by.   no thought or emotion   too complex or childish  for me to vent out,  my pen and paper,  my ever understanding friends,   life is a handle,   with no love and comfort   you waste and crumble   but with my sword and shield   I will make it throgh lifes battle. ©Mwangi Njoroge.

This morning I met up with some old friends from South Africa,as usual they were all 'swagged up'(looking good and fresh exorbitantly).We shared stories and experiences being that 3yrs is surely a long time and what stood out was the way they presented themselves vocally,physically,idealy and stature.I took a line form one of our conversations that I would love to share with you.One of my friends replying to a comment I had made said,"its no secret,people change but I evolve,watch me adapt myself to life and make it grind for me(work for me).So my friends,I want to pose this question to you,'do you wait for the world to adapt to you or do you adapt yourself to the world?'

This is just a simple poem To tell you of my love to you, It isn't much,but still it shows My love for you is true, I remember the day we spent together As we ran along the sand. like an a addict,I cant get anything done without appreciating what the last four months have been for me,everyday since I broke my cuffs from my relationship I have grown a great deal in varying arenas:poetry being the largest milestone I have achieved.Its hard getting up from a fall but with every shut door comes an opportunity to unlock new ones,I haven't achieved my fulll pontential noraccomplished my goals in life but I have a strong will to try nomatter how hard the doors keep slumming on my face.big surprises come in packages of constant persistance.

.......today will be getting a new varsity I.D.following Sitawa tha wahole day,getting my phone fixed,sittting for a C.A.T,getting my poetry book in Hurlinghum,performing at club Quepers(Karen),submitting my term paper..   =)...cant wait for nightfall got to know how resiliant I can be

      she told him my Internet friend, we chat all day and all night, he knows me from when I was younger, when I first kissed my boyfriend, when I first met my lover and when we broke up, he makes me laugh when I wanna cry, he excites me when am bored, he replaces my emptiness and fills my loneliness, sometimes oversea, sometimes here he makes me feel all so dear, he treats me like a lady always on my side no matter what the story, when am with my love my friends or family, my Internet friend is never far away, from my heart or mind, my Internet friend if only you could know how I feel.  ©Mwangi Njoroge

     value judgment  people will always talk , wear ties and call it a job, critics and their 'real talk', drawing obvious assumptions-and call it an article. words are cheap, actions deep, shovelling recycled gossip doesn't change a thing . my job is to stir up emoyions, bring out simple lifes revelations, give people viable options unlike some harridan and hooligan; with their delirios conclusions critism is an art, use it to nature and develo, not to be littl and insult! critisim is a sieve for the best crop. dont hide behind your pen, write your mind, but mind the recipients; arrogance is not a form of deffence. so Mr. and Mrs Critic, write your 'real' talk but remember to be realistic, there is more to talk than words;-                  talk your alk                ...

                         a heart orphaned remember when we met, on that warm summers eve, with the flowers blooming and butterflies all around, the sky was blue and the breeze warm, yet affectionately cool, remember the doves, remember the horses, remember the waterfall; as we whispered to each other. remember on that evening the nightingale sung and rhe shadows said goodnight, remember the orange horizon as we waited to hear the sun dock the ocean, remember the ladt bird and the rainbow at the fountain, remember the parrot say   "i love you" remember the old couple say   "bless you" Though you are not here anymore, I still remember, the words, the rythms, the weather, the parrot and the nightingale.
