New Friend (prt 2).

Before you leave,
I want you to know,
I have found peace
amidst chaos,
I have sown joy
In the depths of sorrow.

I have appreciated
your effervescent friendship,
enjoyed our chats
to the very last bits,
I have learnt
to discover joy in everything.

As a farewell
I write this as a present,
for so long as we are friends
Joy will be inevitable.
I have heard the birds sing
and tomorrow is a day of better treasures.

One day, the King came upon a servant who was singing happily while he worked. This fascinated the King. Why was he, the Supreme Ruler of the Land, unhappy and gloomy, while a lowly servant had so much joy? The King asked the servant, "Why are you so happy?"
